SURGICAL SCARS

Scars form as part of the skin’s natural healing process following injury, inflammation, or trauma. When the deeper layers of the skin are damaged — whether from surgery, self-harm, acne, or accidents — the body produces collagen to repair the area. Depending on how the skin heals, scars can appear raised, sunken, tight, or discoloured.

While some scars fade over time, others can remain visible and affect both texture and confidence. The appearance of a scar depends on several factors, including skin type, the depth of the injury, and how the wound was cared for during healing.

At Drench, we offer advanced treatment options to help soften and refine the appearance of scarring. Using technologies such as SkinPen® microneedling and medical-grade skincare, we can stimulate collagen, improve texture, and blend the scar more evenly with the surrounding skin.

If scarring is something you’d like support with, we invite you to book a consultation. Our expert practitioners will assess your skin and develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs and goals.
